MILLINERY

Our millinery section has grown up from a selection of wool and fur hoods which we used to house in Dering Street to an array of plain and printed cones and capelines sourced mainly from an amazing factory in Portugal which we visited to comprehend the fascinating processes involved in centrifugal manufacture of felted hoods. We also stock straws from Florence and a huge variety of petersham ribbons, wires and feathers plus straw and felt stiffeners for making hats. Sinamay lives in our fabric department and we also have sparterie which we finally tracked down in Japan after an absence of at least a decade.
